Well, the first ever One Day Drum Shop is over.
And what a day we had!
After a gig the night before for at least 2 of those involved, it was an early, wet and cold start to the day!
We arrived at the hall at around 10am to start setting up, and were just about ready in time for midday, with dozens waiting patiently in the rain!
The hall was busy with people trying, shopping, chatting and drinking coffee (and tea) for the next few hours.
We've had loads of positive feedback and are already planning the next event on Sunday 5th May (see below).

Question: what do you get if you cross lots of rack bits with a selection of snare drums?
Hint: you may also require a spirit level, an autosaw, several cups of coffee, spray lubricant and a slightly bemused dog.
Answer: you get a luscious display of snare drums from the humble Pearl Forum, right up to a gorgeous maple Gretsch, all ready for the eager masses to try at One Day Drum Shop!
If you haven't already, hop onto Facebook and join the event for regular news & updates.
We were thrilled to be approached by The Cambridge Drum Company would love to share what they do with Berkshire's drummers. They'll be bringing a kit and some snares, as well as colour samples.
